Our story
We're building the missing handshake between software and people
Every product we shipped in the Nordics broke at the same wall: a BankID prompt, a MitID confirmation, a Skatteverket login. The app could do everything else, but it couldn't be the user. So we built the layer that lets it ask, signed end to end.
The wall every product hits
Open a bank app, sign a power of attorney, log into Skatteverket, file a claim with Försäkringskassan. Each one fires a step-up flow that has to land on the user's phone. Today's apps, and especially today's AI agents, either fail silently, or hand the entire workflow back to a human.
Worse, every team builds the same brittle workaround: a custom integration with BankID, then MitID, then a push provider, each with its own audit and PSD2 quirks. Step-up shouldn't be a side quest. It should be a single signed handshake.
So we built Pointely: a signed bridge service, a shared envelope format, and framework-native SDKs, so your code pauses with one call, the user approves on their phone, and an Ed25519-signed record streams back, ready to verify.
Who we are
Two Swedish founders who've shipped on top of BankID for years. Agents, and the next generation of regulated apps, are coming for every workflow that involves a real identity, and the Nordic stack is uniquely positioned to lead that future. Built in Göteborg with a global mindset, obsessed with trust and audit-grade infrastructure.

Product, GTM, and developer experience: designing the API, SDKs, and dashboards that make step-up authorization feel like a single Stripe-grade primitive.
“Your code does everything up to the moment it has to be the user. We make that moment a single signed call, and then the run keeps going.”
